A systematic approach to the organization of design processes

Abstract: A methodology based on a systematic approach and the construction of a functional model are suggested to describe the business processes of a project enterprise in order to improve its activities and increase competitiveness. The functional model is defined by the purpose and boundaries of modeling, and the design process is presented as a “black box”. The main business processes of the project enterprise are described.

Abstract: The scientific work considers the implementation of the mechanism of structural interaction between production divisions, research centers and a design-and-technological service at a typical radio-industrial enterprise. The adaptation of the company’s internal processes using 1C:ERP will reduce time costs and optimally allocate available financial and human resources. The process-cost approach and creation of a «Knowledge Base» will support effective interaction with the competence and decision-making centers at the enterprise.

Strategic priorities for planning the development of industrial complexes in Russia

Abstract: This article examines the system-forming role of industrial complexes as centers of cooperation, which generate synergies, and form closed value chains. It is demonstrated that in modern geopolitical conditions technological leadership serves as a target function in the strategic planning of industrial complex development. The article substantiates aspects of strategic planning for industrial complex development in Russia that determine the key role of this activity in achieving technological leadership. The stages of strategic planning for industrial complex development are described.

Abstract: Digital platforms are becoming a central element of the new industrial architecture in the Russian Federation. In the face of sanctions pressure, disruption of global supply chains, and the need for import substitution and import preemption, platform solutions are enabling the restoration and restructuring of internal ties between manufacturers, suppliers, developers, and consumers. Unlike traditional IT systems focused on internal automation, digital platforms create multifunctional ecosystems that generate network effects and enhance the overall resilience of the industrial sector. Mechanical engineering, as a highly collaborative industry with a complex product lifecycle, is particularly sensitive to the quality of digital connections. The implementation of platform solutions not only improves operational efficiency but also ensures component traceability, verification of domestic origin of programs, and accelerated innovation.

Approach to cost estimation of unmanned aerial helicopters for logistics in Russia

Abstract: The subject of this research is the cost of unmanned aerial helicopters for logistics, providing economic efficiency of their application in remote areas of Russia. In this study, an approach to cost estimation of unmanned helicopters for logistics at the Far North and the Far East of Russia was developed. During study, a new method of calculation of cost per flight hour of unmanned aerial system like one of indicators of economic efficiency was developed. The described approach and method allowed authors to conduct the research of economic efficiency of unmanned aerial system in the remote areas of Russia. They concluded that the cost of unmanned aerial helicopter for logistics with maximum payload of 50 kg providing economic efficiency in Russia runs up to 40 millions rubbles.

Classification of direct expenses in operation of a passenger aircraft promoting measures to increase the level of its competitiveness

Abstract: The article is aimed at the analysis of the market of passenger aircrafts. The hyper-competitive environment requires continuous improvement of civil aircrafts, including through the reduction of direct operating costs (DOC). The article provides classification of DOC by key signs: fixed and variable costs, the degree of influence, factors of influence, factors depending on the characteristics of an aircraft, methods used by manufacturers to reduce expenses, the degree of DOC volatility.

Factors of staffing instability at industrial organizations in turbulent conditions

Abstract: In recent years, Russia has been developing in conditions of turbulence. This has a negative impact on the functioning of industrial enterprises. These problems have become especially acute after the activation of external sanctions pressure since 2022. The lack of personnel is such a problem, which manifested quantitatively and structurally. A number of identified problems in this area require systemic solutions with the participation of the state. Besides, author has identified few factors of staffing instability at industrial organizations caused by the effect of turbulence on the behavior of personnel. It is recommended to take these factors into account in the context of personnel management.

Strategic priorities for the development of industrial complexes as a factor of ensuring industrial competitiveness in modern conditions

Abstract: This article argues that structural transformations of industrial complexes represent a strategic imperative for ensuring Russia’s technological sovereignty and global competitiveness. Their success depends on the systematic implementation of a package of strategic documents that synchronize the efforts of the state, the business community, and the scientific and educational cluster. Key conditions include overcoming fragmentation in development through the coordination of all factors – from financial and human resources to technological and infrastructural ones. The main challenge remains bridging the gap between the development of high-tech products and their commercialization, which requires the creation of a holistic innovation ecosystem capable of transforming ideas into marketable products, and ensuring the transition to a flexible, antifragile, and high-tech industrial model.

Abstract: The current turbulence in the Russian economy, caused by external sanctions, has significantly weakened national economic security both for the country as a whole and for the real sector of the economy. One of the significant threats to national economic security is the insufficient level of technological sovereignty. The presence and realization of this threat hinders the normal functioning of enterprises in the real sector of the economy, necessitating systemic measures to localize production. This article suggests an approach to implementing these measures based on strengthening the state regulation of the economy.

Feasibility study of localization within domestic aircraft industry

Abstract: The country’s acquisition of technological sovereignty requires localization of production in high-tech industries, in particular in the aviation industry. The process of localization of production is a complex phenomenon that can be qualitatively characterized from various sides. To this end, author suggests an approach, which involves evaluating production of airliners based on the suggested indicators of the degree and completeness of localization in combination with the decomposition of the process to identify the least localized elements, as well as considering a set of local effects and their qualitative characteristics based on the developed forecast matrix for the formation of individual components of the total effect in the process of localization of the Russian aviation industry. In order to obtain quantitative characteristics, it is suggested to carry out a quantitative assessment of the most clearly emerging and assessable local effects: the scale of import substitution in the field of aircraft production, the potential effects of waste recycling and the multiplicative development of related industries. The results obtained indicate that the intensive development of the aviation industry will ensure the inflow of funds to the domestic economy in the near future.

Abstract: In today’s environment, industrial production remains the fundamental foundation of the national economy, not only providing a significant share of the gross domestic product but also forming the backbone of technological sovereignty, employment, export potential, and the country’s defense capability. Despite the growth of the service sector and the digitalization of the global economy, industry continues to drive sustainable development, particularly in the face of geopolitical instability, sanctions pressure, and the need to ensure strategic autonomy. Global experience demonstrates that industrial production is more than just a collection of factories and machines, but a complex ecosystem comprising research centers, engineering schools, supply chains, logistics hubs, and skilled personnel. This ecosystem determines a country’s ability to innovate, modernize, and adapt to external challenges. In a context where economic policy is increasingly focused on technological sovereignty and import substitution, understanding of real trends in the industrial sector becomes more than just an academic task, but a practical necessity for making informed management decisions at all levels.
