Optimization of procurement activities and inventory management at enterprises of the rocket and space industry

Abstract: The article analyzes the problems of procurement logistics, inventory management and logistics in the context of the fulfillment of contracts concluded under the state defense order. A comprehensive analysis of the current situation is carried out, the reasons for the growing shortage of materials and components, the scale of procurement activities, the specifics of the production cycle are considered, the dynamics of purchases are analyzed, and key problems of logistics are identified.
Measures are suggested to optimize and unify the range of materials used, and to develop new restrictive lists, to introduce the digital inventory management tools, and to improve interaction with design departments by integrating design and supply processes.
The expected results of the suggestions implementation are considered.

Abstract: The article discusses structural constraints that hinder the sustainable development of the machine-building complex of the Russian Federation in the context of the transformation of the national economy. Based on a systematic economic analysis, imbalances in the structure of industrial production, institutional and reproductive restrictions, as well as factors that impede the formation of sustainable growth trajectories of mechanical engineering are revealed. Particular attention is paid to changing the role of the machine-building complex in the structure of the manufacturing industry, its contribution to the formation of added value and the potential for technological renewal. The key directions of sustainable development of the industry focused on structural balance, increasing innovative capacity and reducing dependence on the raw material model of economic growth are justified.

Digital innovations in the organization’s management system: a methodological approach to effect assessment and development directions

Abstract: The purposes of the author are to develop a methodological approach to assessing the effect of digital innovations in an organization’s management system and to justify directions for their further development. The study shows that the implementation of the digital solutions (platforms, data analytics, artificial intelligence) transforms planning, coordination and control processes, while the assessment of managerial effect is often limited to fragmented indicators. Based on systemic and process approaches, an integrated index of digital maturity of the management system is suggested, including three blocks: the level of digitalization of managerial processes, data and analytics quality, and the impact of digital innovation on performance results. Testing the approach on a model organization from the real sector shows that with a moderate level of process digitalization and relatively high data quality, the resulting digital maturity index remains below the target value, indicating underutilization of the potential of digital innovations. Priority development leads are formulated, namely: strengthening end-to-end integration of digital solutions, expanding the use of analytics and AI in decision-making, and improving digital competencies of personnel.

Major approaches to assessment and classification of high-tech industries

Abstract: The article provides a critical review of existing approaches to the assessment and classification of high-tech industries. The OECD / Eurostat methodology, resource-based, competency-based, and market approaches are examined with their advantages and limitations identified. Theoretical, applied, model, and ranking methods suggested by Russian researchers (over 20 methods) are systematized. Particular attention is paid to the problems of traditional classifications like the sectoral principle, disregard for intra-industry heterogeneity, and the gap between product and industry classifications. Based on the identified contradictions, the necessity of clarifying the concept of “high-tech industry” is substantiated, and the author’s definition is suggested, introducing the principle of a “substantive core” and the triad of “technological level – innovativeness – adaptability”. The research results can be used to improve the methodological tools of industrial policy and to diagnose the technological development of industries, including mechanical engineering.

Prospects for the development and application of composite materials in Russian aviation industry: production technologies, operational characteristics and economic efficiency

Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of the prospects for the introduction of modern composite materials in the Russian aviation industry. The main aspects of the technological process of manufacturing composites, the features of their physical and mechanical properties and the impact on the performance of aircraft are considered. The economic advantages of using new composite solutions are analyzed, and the performance indicators of traditional aluminum alloys and innovative composite structures are compared. Specific Russian projects and innovative developments are presented, demonstrating the potential of composites in the domestic aviation industry.
In addition, special attention is paid to the issues of environmental safety and sustainability of composite materials, their impact on reducing the weight of the aircraft structure and improving aerodynamic performance, which helps to increase fuel efficiency and reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere.

Abstract: The article examines the concept of competitiveness as a multidimensional and comprehensive category of modern economic theory. It is shown that competitiveness manifests itself at various levels and objects of economic activity, including goods and services, enterprises, production processes, economic potential, and research and development (R&D). The main approaches to defining product and enterprise competitiveness are analyzed, and the relationship between production competitiveness and the level of technical development, mechanization, and automation is revealed. Special attention is paid to the assessment of the economic potential of an enterprise and the competitiveness of R&D as key factors of sustainable development under dynamic market conditions and high economic risks. The study emphasizes the necessity of an integrated and systematic approach to competitiveness assessment in order to improve management efficiency and the validity of strategic decision-making.

Building high-performance teams in conditions of uncertainty: coaching for industrial enterprises focused on technological leadership

Abstract: In the era of multi-scale crises (encompassing micro- and macro-crises of various types: economic, technological, social) and exponential growth of technological complexity (Industry 4.0/5.0), industrial enterprises face an epistemological rupture (auth. Gaston Bachelard): traditional, determinism-based management models have exhausted their explanatory and regulatory potential in the VUCA/BANI and SHIVA environment. The article considers coaching not as an optional HR tool, but as a method of institutionalizing reflexivity in technocratic culture. Based on the analysis of cases (Schneider Electric, Atos, Rosatom State Corporation) and the synthesis of organizational psychology concepts (Edmondson’s theory of psychological safety, Argyris’s double-loop learning), a model of «technological sovereignty coaching» is substantiated. The author suggests the original concept of «engineering metanoia» – a cognitive shift from siloed thinking to systemic leadership, allowing to overcome the «competency trap» and ensure the antifragility of production systems.

A sociological analysis of the audience of participants in an educational campaign in the context of assessing the economic literacy of society. Part 2

Abstract:This article presents a sociological analysis of the audience participating in the All-Russian Educational Campaign «All-Russian Economic Dictation – 2025». In the introductory section, the author substantiates the importance of improving public economic literacy. The audience distribution is analyzed in detail across a number of sociological criteria: gender of participants, their age, education level, field of activity, and their attitude toward economics. The data obtained for each criterion are compared with the results for the corresponding criteria obtained following the 2024 Economic Dictation.

Analysis of the global drone light show market over the past 10 years (2016–2025)

Abstract: The research examines the analysis of the global drone light show market over the past ten years (2016–2025), focusing on the evolvement of the market not only in size but also in the structure of demand. The study consolidates fragmented information on the drone light show industry and provides an integrated view of market development and structural shifts. The analysis draws on a structured dataset of 1,800 documented shows across 76 countries (2016–2025), complemented by aggregated figures reported by leading industry players (over 15,000 shows in 2024). Using these sources, the market is segmented by type of show, application area, event format (outdoor/indoor), and geographic distribution. The results indicate that, alongside the overall increase in the number of performances, demand has been gradually moving away from primarily public and government-led celebrations toward private and commercially driven shows, including brand campaigns and corporate events. The results also point to a trend toward increasing technological complexity of shows, while the relative share of simpler show formats declines. The findings of this research may support drone light show operators, new companies entering the drone light show market and unmanned aerial systems manufacturers in identifying target segments, developing specialized platforms, and focusing on expansion into high-potential markets.
